Xiomara "Kim" Brathwaite, LMT, BCTMB, CLT, is a therapeutic massage therapist with over 14 years of practical experience.

She received her Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy from the Swedish Institute, College of Health Sciences in New York. She received her Certification in Lymphedema Therapy by the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy.  She is licensed by the New York State Education Department; New Jersey Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy and Board Certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). Xiomara is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and a member of the NJ AMTA Sports Massage Team. She is also a Reiki practitioner who has been practicing for over 15 years.

Continuing her education, she has completed courses in complete decongestive therapy (135 hrs), reflexology (110 hrs), prenatal massage, medical and orthopedic massage including assessment and treatment protocols (180 hours), advanced sports massage techniques, kinesiology, pain management and structural and functional assessment of injuries, Active Isolated Stretching & Strengthening, and Reiki (Levels I, II & III).

As a Therapeutic Massage Therapist, Kim is trained to treat a variety of conditions such as: edema, migraine and tension headaches, rotator cuff syndrome, sciatica, low back pain, golfer’s and tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, piriformis syndrome, plantar fasciitis, whiplash, and thoracic outlet syndrome, to name a few.

My intention is to utilize all modalities necessary to facilitate well being. As a nurturer, I address my clients on a case by case basis with respect, compassion, care and professionalism.”
